Using the Where Is Student window

You can use the Where Is Student window to find out where students should be at any given time during the academic day.

Fields

Field

Description

Search

Search for a student by typing in their:

  • surname
  • first name
  • surname followed by a comma and their initial
  • surname followed by a comma and their first name
  • Synergetic ID.

Grid area fields

The Timetable grid displays the student's timetable for that day, and highlights the period they should currently be attending.

Where Is Student window (populated, synweb)

Field

Description

Time

Time the period starts.

Period

Number of the period.

Class

Code for the class scheduled.

Description

Description of the class scheduled.

Room

Room the class is scheduled in.

Staff

Staff member taking the class.

Comment

Comment indicating the type of absence slip, if any.

Attended

Student's attendance record for that class, if marked.

Buttons

Button

Description

Search button (synweb, magnifying glass)

Search for a student based on the information you typed into the Search field.

Search students (populated, synweb)
