Creating appointments

You can create appointments in three ways:

Creating quick appointments

To create a Quick Appointment:

  1. Select the class that you want to create an appointment for in the Class grid.
  2. Select the students that you want to create an appointment for in the Students grid.
  3. Find the day and time when you want to create an appointment.

    Note: If the appointment is a week or more in advance, click Next week schedule button (synweb) to display the next week of the schedule, or click Exact date schedule button (SynWeb) to go to an exact date.

  4. Right click on the timeslot where you want to create an appointment.
  5. Select New Quick Appointment.

    The appointment is created.

Creating manual appointments

To create a Manual Appointment:

  1. Select the class that you want to create an appointment for in the Class grid.
  2. Select the students that you want to create an appointment for in the Students grid.
  3. Find the day and time when you want to create an appointment.

    Note: If the appointment is a week or more in advance, click Next week schedule button (synweb) to display the next week of the schedule, or click Exact date schedule button (SynWeb) to go to an exact date.

  4. Right click on the timeslot where you want to create an appointment.

    Tip: To create an appointment with a different duration to the default, select the time of your appointment in the grid by holding down the Shift key and clicking the relevant timeslots in the grid.

  5. Select New Manual Appointment.

    The Add Appointment window is displayed.

  6. Update the Start and End times, if required.
  7. Select the Room.
  8. Select the Team, if required.
  9. Select the Class Type, if required.
  10. Add a Comment, if required.
  11. Click Save button.

    The appointment is created.

Creating blank appointments

To create an appointment not connected to students or classes:

  1. Find the day and time when you want to create an appointment.

    Note: If the appointment is a week or more in advance, click Next week schedule button (synweb) to display the next week of the schedule, or click Exact date schedule button (SynWeb) to go to an exact date.

  2. Right click on the timeslot where you want to create an appointment.
  3. Select New Blank Appointment.

    A blank appointment is created.

    Note: Any selected students are automatically added to the appointment and listed in the Scheduled Students field.
