Course Maintenance - Linked Courses

Use the Linked Courses tab to view courses that share a link with the current course, including:

Opening the Linked Courses bar

Course Maintenance - Linked Courses bar key fields and buttons

Grid area fields

Field

Description

File Type

Class type. For example, academic or co-curricular.

Courses Seq

Unique identifying number for the course.

Course Campus

Campus where the linked course takes place.

Course Code

Course code for the linked course.

Description

Description for the linked course.

Course Code Full

Long version of the course code for the linked course.

Enrolment Flag Open

Indicates whether students can currently enrol in the course.

Start Date

Start date for the course.

End Date

End date for the course.

Hyperlinksqlc Class Code

SQL class for the hyperlink to the course.

Hyperlink Description

Text that appears as the hyperlink to the course.

Navigation buttons

Navigate between the selected courses.

Course Maintenance Common Buttons cutdown (courselist synweb)

Create New button (synweb)

Create New Course window (synweb)

Launch the Create New Course window to add a new course to the database. Enter the details for the course and click Create button (synweb).

Criteria button

Display the Course Maintenance Search Criteria window.

Course Maintenance Search Criteria window (synweb, cut down)

You can update the search criteria and search for new courses. See Searching for courses.

Customise tabs button (synweb)

Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.
