UseSecurity configuration setting

Description

The UseSecurity setting is used to enable the Security tab in Assessment Area Maintenance.

You can configure the system so that:

• department heads can only modify their own assessment areas
• teachers can only access and modify specific assessment codes or areas.

Default value

The default value is True.

Setting a different value

Clear the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to False. See Maintaining configuration files.
