Starting the DocMan service

To start the DocMan service:

1. Open the Start menu on the server where the DocMan service is installed.
2. Open the Run program.
3. Type Services.msc and click OK.

   The Services window is displayed.

4. Right click the Synergetic Document Service and select Properties.
5. Select Automatic (Delayed Start) in the Startup Type field.
6. Select Local System Account in the Log on field
7. Click Start.

   The DocMan service starts.

8. Test the service is running correctly. See Testing the DocMan service.

Stopping the DocMan service

To stop the DocMan service:

1. Open the Start menu on the server where the DocMan service is installed.
2. Open the Run program.
3. Type Services.msc and click OK.

   The Services window is displayed.

4. Right click the Synergetic Document Service and select Stop.

   The service is stopped.
