Allocating students to classes

To allocate students to a class:

1. Select Curriculum > Student Class Allocation from the SynWeb main menu.

   The Students Search Criteria window is displayed.

   

2. Search for the students you want to allocate. See Searching for students in the Current students manual.

   The Students Class Allocation window is displayed.

   

   Tip: Select to only show students in the Students area who have not yet been allocated to any of the selected classes. To show all students who match your student search criteria, select .

3. Click .

   The Class Search Criteria window is displayed.

   

4. Search for the class you want to add the students to. See Searching for classes in the Assessment and reports manual.

   The Students Class Allocation window is displayed.

   Tip: You can filter the students that are displayed in the classes you have searched for. For example, select to limit the students displayed in the Classes area to those that fulfil your student search criteria.

5. Select the students to allocate in the Students grid.

   

6. Click the Add link on the class you want to add them to.

   

   The students are added to the class.
