Printing Student Reports window

You can use the Print Student Reports window to print or archive reports for students.

Students area fields

Field

Description

Student Name

Name of the student whose report can be displayed.

Tip: Click on the launch link to launch Current Student Maintenance for the student.

ID

Synergetic ID for the student.

Tip: Click on the launch link to launch Current Student Maintenance for the student.

Contact Mail Name

Mail name for the student's contact who usually receives the reports.

Contact Type

 

Type of contact. Values include:

  • SC <number> / Contact <number>
  • SE <number> / Emergency Contact <number>.

 

Note: The SC1 contact is one or more of a student's primary contacts. At schools, the SC1 contact is normally one or both of a student's parents, even if the child does not live with the parent, due to the effect on family position and sibling discounts.

Note: When different students have the same SC1 contact, the students are listed as siblings in each other's Siblings bar. The SC1 contact also helps to determine who is displayed in a student's Relations bar.

Description

Class Order for Printing each Students' results

Order in which the student's classes:

  • appear in the grid for printing
  • are printed.

Select either:

  • Sequence (line) order
  • Class Code order
  • Reporting Seq.

Only Classes with Results

Select to print for classes where the student has a:

  • result
  • topic comment
  • overall comment.

Store Archive in DocMan

Select to store the combined student results PDF in the Synergetic database under the DocMan tab for each student.

Apply underlay to individual class reports

Select to apply a PDF underlay to class reports. For example, a watermark added for your organisation.

Archive Comment

Enter a comment to apply to the archived versions of the reports.

Archive Selected Class for this student button (synweb)

Archive the report for the selected class for the selected student.

Archive All Classes for this student button (synweb)

Archive the reports for all classes for the selected student.

Note: The report generated from this method is a merged PDF.

Archive All Students button (synweb)

Archive the reports for all classes for all students displayed in the students pane.

Note: The report generated from this method is a merged PDF.

 

Reports area grid fields

Field

Description

Col

Column number for the class.

File Type

Type of class, either academic or co-curricular.

Class

Code for the class

Description

Name of the class.

Tip: Click on the launch link to launch Class Maintenance for this class.

Staff

Staff member responsible for the class.

Report Style

Style of report defined for the class results.

SSRS Report External

External definition for the report, if using SSRS.

File Semester

Semester the class took place in.

File Year

Year the class took place in.

Subject Classes Seq

Identifying number for the class.

Class Campus

Campus the class took place at.

ID

Synergetic ID for the student whose reports can be archived.

Exclude Class Selection

If true, the class is excluded from being saved in the archive.

Print Override View Name

If true, the overridden view name is printed on the report.

Staff ID

Synergetic ID for the staff member responsible for the class.

SSRS Report Internal

Internal definition for the report, if using SSRS.
