Searching for external tests

To find an external test:

Select Curriculum > External Tests Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The External Tests Search Criteria window is displayed.
Type and select your search criteria in the fields.
Click .
Tip: Fields that have a drop-down list to choose from, such as Campus, are case sensitive and depend on how they have been set up in the database lookup tables. We recommend that you always select these fields from the drop-down list.

The first search result is displayed.
Click on the external test links on the left to navigate to other external tests.
View the external test details. See Maintaining external test results.

External Tests Search Criteria key fields and buttons

Field

Field	Description
Description	Restrict results to tests with this text in their description.
Type	Restrict results to tests of this type.
Staff	Restrict results to tests with these staff members.
Test Date From	Restrict results to tests that occurred after this date.
Active Only	Select to restrict the search results to active tests only.

Buttons

Button	Description

	Search for an external test based on the search criteria you have entered.
	Clear the search criteria and start a new search.
	Launch the Create External Test window to add a new external test to the database. See Creating external tests.
