Navigating around SynWeb

SynWeb uses navigation bars instead of tabs.

A Home screen has been added displaying your timetable and class list.

A Home icon button has been added to allow easy navigation back to the Home window.

First search record opened by default.

When searching for staff and students, SynWeb opens the first returned record by default.

User preferences / Change password.

You can change your:

  • user preferences, including term and year, default file type and default campus
  • password.

Administrators can change the passwords of other users.

New email options.

You can set email authentication and copying settings when emailing grid records to community members.

Sending emails and SMS messages from grids

New options for sending grid records.

You can send individual records or all records in a grid by email or SMS.

Search option can collapse navigation bars.

You can select Collapse all nav bars on search criteria pages to collapse all the navigation bars on the search results.
