Allocating students to co-curricular programs in bulk

You can filter for specific groups of students and use the Bulk Set Team and Comment window to:

To allocate students to co-curricular categories in bulk:

  1. Login to SynWeb with administrator rights.
  2. Select the All level in the co-curricular selector.

  3. Click the Students bar.

    The Students bar is displayed.

  4. Select students to process by selecting filters in the Student Filters area. See the Co-Curricular Maintenance - Students bar.
  5. Click search button (synweb).

    The Students area is redisplayed.

  6. Select the checkbox Select field (Sports Maintenance - Students bar, synweb) next to each student to be allocated.
  7. Click Allocate.

    The Bulk Set Team and Comment window is displayed.

    Note: The title of the fields depend on the values assigned to SubjectClassCategory fields. See the luFileTypeProgram lookup table.

  8. Select a Sport or other co-curricular level one category.

  9. Select a Squad or other co-curricular level two category.

    Note: Select Remove from Squad or similar to remove the students from the selected squad. The students are still allocated at the sport or level one category.

  10. Select a Team or other co-curricular level three category, if used.

    Note: Select Remove from Team or similar to remove the students from the selected team. The students are still allocated at the sport/level one and squad/level two categories.

  11. Click Save button.
