Overriding the ShowMenu configuration setting per tab

Using the Menu URL parameter

The Menu URL parameter is used to override the ShowMenu configuration setting for specific tabs. For example, if you want the Tabs menu to display on all tabs except the Timetable tab. See ShowMenu configuration setting.

To define whether the Tabs menu is displayed on specific tabs:

1. Select Module > System > Configuration File Maintenance in Synergetic.

   The Configuration File Maintenance window is displayed.

2. Select the URL configuration setting for the tab you wish you to change. For example, to change whether the Timetable tab displays the Tabs menu select the CommunityPortal:Pages:Timetable:URL configuration setting.

3. Add the Menu parameter to the end of the URL with the appropriate value according to the menu values table below.

   For example, if you want the Timetable tab to always display the Tabs menu, change the value of the CommunityPortal:Pages:Timetable:URL configuration setting to ~/tmtbl.aspx?menu=1.
