SignInBlankPeriodFlag

Description

The SignInBlankPeriodFlag configuration setting determines whether the Sign In link is displayed for blank periods in Study Period Maintenance. See Maintaining study periods in the Attendance manual.

Note: Teachers sign into the blank period first. Once the teacher is signed in students can login by scanning their barcodes or entering their student IDs or student names.

Default value

The default value is True. The Sign In link is displayed.

Setting a new value

Clear the Value field in Configuration File Maintenance to hide the Sign In link for blank periods in Study Period Maintenance. See Configuration File Maintenance window in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
