Cancelling orders

Use the General tab of the Purchase Order Maintenance window when you need to cancel an order. See Purchase Order Maintenance - General tab.

Note: You can only cancel a purchase order if it has not had goods received against it.

To cancel an order:

  1. Search for the purchase order. See Searching for purchase orders.
  2. Open the purchase order.

    The General tab of the Purchase Order Maintenance window is displayed.

  3. Click Cancel order button.

    Confirm - About to cancel Purchase Order

  4. Click Yes button.

    The order status is changed to cancelled.

    Note: You cannot change the order status. If you accidentally cancel a purchase order, create a new purchase order with the same details.
