Exporting SES files

To export SES files in Australia:

  1. Update the method for identifying parents, if required. See SES parent extraction settings in the System maintenance manual.
  2. Open the SES tab of the Import/Export Student Data window. See Import/Export Student Data - SES tab.

  3. If you have multiple campuses, update the DEST Client Number field if required.
  4. Change the default File Name, if required.

    Note: The file does not require a file extension.

  5. Select the Year Level From and Year Level To for the year levels to export, inclusive.
  6. Change the default Output Type, if required.
  7. Click OK button.

    The following dialog is displayed.

  8. Click Yes button.

    The following Crystal Report is displayed in preview mode.

  9. Print the report.
  10. Click Close button.

    The following dialog is displayed.

    Confirm - C:\temp\SES.txt was produced

  11. Click Yes button.

    The following Crystal Report is displayed in preview mode.

  12. Print the report.
  13. Click Close button.

    The following dialog is displayed.

    Information - C:\temp\SES.txt was produced

  14. Fix any errors listed on the reports and repeat from step 7.
  15. If you need to export again if you have multiple campuses, repeat from step 3.
