Student Reports windows

Two windows are used when viewing, printing or archiving student reports:

First, search for students to print reports for. See Searching for students to print reports for. The Student Reports Grid window is displayed with the selected students. The Print Student Reports window is also displayed with the subjects for the selected student.

In the following example, students in the Senior Campus are displayed. Angelo Adamski is selected on the left window and his subjects are displayed in the right window.

Fields

Field

Description

Name

Type all or part of the student's last name and click Find button to position at the student's name.

This is useful if you have a lot of students selected.

ID

Type the student's Synergetic ID and click Find button to position at the student's name.

Selection

Description

Print

Print the selected results on the printer.

Note: The print process type must match on both windows.

Archive

Creates PDF files of reports and saves them in the file path set for your organisation as:

  • separate reports, one per class for each student
  • a combined report for each student.

Print from archive

Print previously archived reports for the selected students.

Buttons

Button

Description

Change button

Change the students displayed on the Student Reports Grid window.

See Searching for students to print reports for.

Find button

Position at the student's name based on either the:

  • Name field
  • ID field.

Refer to the Name and ID field descriptions above.

Process All button

Process all of the students displayed in the grid. Either:

  • print the student reports for all of the students displayed.
  • archive the student reports for all of the students displayed.

Only Classes with Results

Select to print for classes where the student has a:

  • result
  • topic comment
  • overall comment.

Process Type

Whether to preview, print or archive the student results.

 

Selection

Description

 

Preview

Display the selected results on the screen
and print if required.

 

Print

Print the selected results on the printer without previewing.

 

Archive

Creates PDF files of reports and saves them in the file path set for your organisation as:

  • separate reports, one per class for each student
  • a combined report for each student.

Store archive in Database

If Archive is selected, select the Store archive in Database field to store the combined student results PDF in the Synergetic database for each student.

Print Student Reports window (cut down)

Apply underlay to individual class reports

If Archive is selected, select to apply an underlay to individual class reports, if a PDF underlay is specified.

For example, a watermark added if your organisation uses pre‑printed stationery.

Launch into Class Maintenance for the student's selected subject.

Print selected class button

Print the student’s report for the selected class.

Print all classes button

Print the student’s report for all the classes.
