Entering stored comments

Comments can be added from the comment bank using the button.

Departmental or learning area comments are set up by the people with rights to Subject Assessment Area Maintenance. A comment bank can also be maintained by individual staff members. See Entering stored personal comments.

To use comments from the comment bank, using tabs or windows with the button:

Open one of the following tabs or windows:
- The Single Student tab of the Student Results Maintenance window. See Student Results Maintenance - Single Student tab.
- The All Students tab of the Student Results Maintenance window. See Student Results Maintenance - All Students tab.
- The Assessment tab of the Student Results Maintenance window. See Student Results Maintenance - Assessment tab.
- The Topic Comment window available by clicking from either the:
  - Single Student tab of the Student Results Maintenance window. See Student Results Maintenance - Single Student tab.
  - All Students tab of the Student Results Maintenance window. See Student Results Maintenance - All Students tab.
Click in the Comments field (highlighted in the examples above).
Type any preceding comments.
Click .
The Comment Tree window is displayed with a list of pre-defined comments for:
- the assessment that this class is associated with
- the assessment areas
- any of your Personal comments.
  
  Note: Any nodes that show a character can be selected to expand the branch below that point. You can keep expanding branches until there are no more.
Select a comment from the list.
Tip: You can also click to maintain your own stored comments. See Entering stored personal comments.
Paste the highlighted comment into the comment field, by either:
- pressing Alt + P
- clicking .
The comment is pasted into the Comments area with a space after it, ready for you to enter another comment.
