Viewing the Community Portal as a different community member

You can use the Impersonate User Login window in the Community Portal to impersonate another user and enter payment method details on their behalf.

Note: You can also impersonate another Community Portal user to test NAB Transact payments. See Testing NAB Transact payments in the Synergetic Online payments manual.

Note: Contact the Synergetic administrator if you need to view the financial details of the different community member you are impersonating. The administrator will enable Group/User SELECT security access to the DEB|DebtorMaint setting.

To view the Community Portal as a different community member:

1. Open the Impersonate User Login window. See Impersonate User Login window.
2. Search for a community member by:
   • Community surname
   • Community given name
   • Community ID.

     Tip: Search using the Community ID to automatically login as the linked user.

3. Filter the search by constituency if necessary.

   Note: Selecting Show Database logins only field will filter the list to only include IDs with Community Portal logins stored in the Synergetic database.

4. Select a grid entry.
5. Click Login As in the Login column.

   A confirmation message is displayed on the Impersonate User Login window and the Community Portal pages are displayed as the selected community member sees them.
