Disabling SSRS in SynWeb

SynWeb uses SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to produce reports on the web. In order to use SSRS, you must have SQL Server 2008 R2 running on your server. If you do not have SQL Server 2008 R2, you can disable SSRS and use the existing Crystal Reports instead.

Note: This method supersedes the SSRSEnabledFlag key in Synergetic.xml.

To disable SSRS:

  1. Login to Synergetic using your administrator login.
  2. Select Module > System > Configuration File Maintenance.

    The following window is displayed.

  3. Type ssrs to filter the settings.

    Configuration File Maintenance (SSRS, find)

  4. Select the EnabledFlag.

Configuration File Maintenance (SSRS, EnabledFlag, true)

  5. Clear the Value field.
  6. Click Apply Default button.

    Note: See SSRS:EnabledFlag configuration setting.
