Development Maintenance - Giving Summary tab

Use the Giving Summary tab to:

View the gifts received from the primary contact and/or their spouse.
View outstanding pledges for the primary contact and/or their spouse.
Maintain the foundation basis and name. The foundation basis is the sum of receipts and pledges from the donor.

Tip: Use the centre splitter to display more information for either the primary contact or spouse. See Using the centre splitter.

Foundation membership constituencies

You can maintain foundation membership constituencies using Synergetic. Synergetic maintains donors based on the donations made. Once a person reaches the next foundation level, they are added to the new foundation level.

Note: Synergetic automatically removes donors from foundation levels they have exceeded if the Development | Donations | AutoUnallocateConstit configuration key is set to true. See AutoUnallocateConstit configuration setting in the System maintenance manual.

To define the ranges that apply to the foundation:

Select Module > System > Lookup Tables Maintenance.
Select luDonorFoundation.
Define donor foundations based on the range that applies to the foundation.
In the example above, a Foundation Member applies from $2,000 to $4,999. A constituency is added for the donor with the prefix @ZFFM. For example, if a person pledges $1500 to your organisation and has already previously donated $500, Synergetic will automatically put them into the @ZFFM constituency.

Note: Once your foundation levels are defined or changed, you may need Synergetic Management System support staff to generate the initial foundation constituency.
You can override the foundation basis in the Giving Summary tab.
