Description

The ClearFormAfterXMinutes setting is used to set the time elapsed before the second screen is cleared, during unattended sign in or out. The time is specified in minutes.

The second screen can be a large wall mounted screen which displays the student signing in or out. If the PC has a second screen attached, the student's name and photo is displayed. This is to deter students signing each other in or out. See Unattended sign in and sign out in the Attendance and absence events manual.

Create Absence Event - Auto Sign In

Default value

The default time is zero (0). This means that the screen is not automatically cleared.

The details for the next student, who signs in or out, replaces the previous entry.

Setting the time

The amount of time needed before clearing the second screen can be set based on the implementation of unattended sign in or sign out at your organisation.

Update the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.

Synergetic displays the default screen after the time has elapsed without any further entries. In this example, the screen is cleared after one minute.
