Updating payment plan instalment frequencies

You can update the frequency of incomplete instalments for a selected payment plan at any time. Synergetic will automatically recalculate the instalments to be charged to pay off any outstanding fees.

To update a payment plan instalment frequency:

1. Select Modules > Debtors > Debtor Maintenance from the main menu.

   The Set Debtor Search Criteria window is displayed.

2. Click the Instalments tab. See Debtor Maintenance - Instalments tab in the Debtors manual.

   The Instalments tab of Debtor Maintenance is displayed.

   

3. Click .

   The Update Instalment Frequency window is displayed.

   

4. Select the payment plan to be updated in the Payment Plan field. See luPortalPaymentPlans lookup table.
5. Select the new instalment frequency in the New Instalment Frequency field. See luDebtorInstalmentFrequency lookup table.

   The Instalment Charges Remaining for Year field is updated with the new instalment settings

6. Choose Optional Selections to restrict the update to instalments:
   • with no charges generated
   • with a specific instalment frequency such as monthly.
7. Click .
8. Click .
