Modifying existing Crystal Reports

You can modify an existing Crystal Report when minor changes are required.

For example, altering the title of a report or adding a few new fields to the report.

To modifying an existing Crystal Report and save it with the same name in the site folder:

Modify the report as required.
Select Save As in Crystal Reports and use the same name.

This method requires the least work. By keeping the same name, you do not need to make any changes in the Report Selector. This preserves the report and prevents it from being replaced by a Synergetic Management Systems report with the same name in a future update. It also prevents the Synergetic Management Systems report from being accessed by other users.
