luStudentCourseStatus lookup table

Description

The luStudentCourseStatus lookup table is used to control student course status codes in the Course Status drop-down list of the Enrolment tab of Course Details Maintenance. See Course Details Maintenance - Enrolment tab in the Current students manual.

Recent changes

A status of Finalised is required before payment can be authorised to an agent for the student's enrolment in a course. A SynergyMeaning of Finalised is required for this entry.

Course Details Maintenance - Enrolment tab (cut down)

In some organisations, agents get paid a commission for organising students to enrol in courses. For example, overseas students are enrolled in one or more of your courses.

Fields

Field	Description
Code	Unique code for the status.
Description	Description for the student's course status.
MajorStatus	Broad category of the status. For example: application current past cancelled.
Synergy- Meaning	Further status categorisation within Major Status. For example, a status with a Major Status can have a SynergyMeaning of: application place offered finalised. These SynergyMeanings can be used when transferring future students.
AllowCourse- ChargeFlag	If selected, students with this status are charged course fees.
FutureStudent- StatusCode	Course status applied to future students when updating the course status in Course Details Maintenance. See Course Details Maintenance - Enrolment tab in the Current students manual. Also see luFutureStatus lookup table.
