Future Student Maintenance - MCEECDYA tab

Use the Parent 1 sub-tab of the MCEECDYA tab to update information about a primary parent or guardian for MCEECDYA requirements.

To open the Parent 1 tab:

Select Module > Future Students > Future Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Future Student Search Criteria window is displayed.

Tip: You can also access the future student functions by clicking .
Select the future student. See Searching for future students.
Click the MCEECDYA tab.
Click the Parent 1 sub-tab.
The Parent 1 sub-tab of the MCEECDYA tab of the Future Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Field	Description
ID	Synergetic ID of the parent or guardian displayed.
Name	Parent or guardian's name in the format last name, first name.
Address	Parent or guardian's address. To update the address: Click to launch into Community Maintenance for the parent or guardian. Update the address on the Home Address tab. See Community Maintenance - Home Address tab in the Community manual. Note: Silent Address is displayed in the Address field of the MCEECDYA tab if the Silent Address field is selected on the Home Address tab of Community Maintenance.
Highest Secondary Year Level	Highest secondary level that the parent or guardian has attended. By default, the MCEECDYA export converts this to the appropriate MCEECDYA level for the corresponding year level. See Import/Export Student Data - MCEECDYA tab in the Current students manual. Some organisations may have entered the MCEECDYA level instead. If this is the case for your organisation, you can set the ParentYearLevelNoConvert configuration setting so that the MCEECDYA levels are used from the data entered in this field. See ParentYearLevelNoConvert configuration setting in the System maintenance manual.
Highest Qualification Level	Highest qualification level that the parent or guardian is currently holding. Note: The values for this field are derived from the luQualificationLevel lookup table values for the MCEECDYA external system type. See Loading lookup tables for external systems in the System maintenance manual.
Occupation Position	Occupation or position that the parent or guardian is currently holding. Note: The values for this field are derived from the luOccupationPosition lookup table values for the MCEECDYA external system type. See Loading lookup tables for external systems in the System maintenance manual.
Home Language	Main language other than English. This field can also be updated on the Other tab of Community Maintenance, for the current community member. See Future Student Maintenance - Personal tab. Note: The values for this field are derived from the luLanguage lookup table values for the MCEECDYA external system type. See Loading lookup tables for external systems in the System maintenance manual.
