Making a staff member available as a substitute

You can only make a staff member available as a substitute in Synergetic.

Once the staff member has been marked as available for substitution, they appear in the search grid in SynWeb when you are making a substitution for a class.

To make a staff member available for substitution:

1. Open the Substitute tab of Staff Maintenance. See Staff Maintenance - Substitute tab in the Synergetic Human resources manual.

   

2. Select the Available for Substitutes field.
3. If required, you can restrict the campuses where the staff member can substitute by selecting them in the Campus 1 and Campus 2 fields.

   Any substitutions made in SynWeb appear on this tab.
