Bookings Maintenance - By Date - Week view

Use the Week view to:

maintain bookings for each available object through a week
view a week's bookings.

All views use the same Search Criteria, View and Schedule area fields and buttons. See Maintaining bookings by date.

Schedule grid fields

The Schedule grid displays days for:

objects that have not been booked in yellow
objects that have been booked by you in a green line
objects that have been booked by other people in a blue line
timetable bookings in grey.

Each available object is represented by a week row. To keep the grid readable even with many objects, SynWeb only displays a limited number of objects per page. You can navigate to a particular object using the Schedule area buttons.

Schedule menu options

Right click on the relevant day to open the Schedule menu.

Bookings Maintenance - By Date (synweb, month view right click menu)

Menu option	Description
Add Booking	Open the Add Booking window to create a new booking in this timeslot. See Adding bookings by date.
New All Day Event	Open the Add Booking window to book a resource for the entire day.
Go to This Day	Display the selected date in Day view.
Go to Today	Display today's bookings in the current view style.
Go to Date...	Select a date and view style to display the current bookings and timeslots.
Change View To	Change the view to a: single day week month timeline.

Booking menu options

Right click on the relevant booking belonging to you to open the Booking menu.

Bookings Maintenance - By Date (synweb, right click booking menu)

Menu option	Description
Edit Booking	Launch the Edit Booking for... window to make changes to your booking.
Show Time As	This option is not currently used.
Label As	This option is not currently used.
Delete	Delete this booking.

View area buttons

Button	Description	See...
	Display the previous day's schedule.
	Go to today's schedule.
	Select the date using the calendar.
	Display the next day's schedule.
	View the schedule for one day.	Bookings - By Date - Day view
	View the schedule for the week.	Bookings - By Date - Week view
	View the schedule for the month.	Bookings - By Date - Month view
	View a timeline of booked objects.	Bookings - By Date - Timeline view
