Linking leave codes with pay types

If you want to integrate leave processing with Current Pay Maintenance you need to link a pay type to its corresponding leave code.

For example, you may have pay codes of NSICK for sick pay, NHOL for holiday pay and so on. These codes must be linked to the SICK and HOLIDAY leave codes.

To link leave codes with pay types:

1. Open the General tab of Payroll Code Maintenance. See Payroll Code Maintenance - General tab.

   The General tab of Payroll Code Maintenance is displayed.

2. Select a value in the Leave Code field.

   This associates a pay code with a leave code, which is vital for full integration with Current Pay Maintenance.
