Deleting accommodation bookings

You can delete an accommodation booking for either:

• An accommodation service provider, such as a hostel.
• An individual, such as the student's relation or a home stay provider (who takes in one student at a time). However, if you want to delete the booking and the contact accommodation record, see Deleting a linked accommodation record.

To delete a student's accommodation booking:

1. Open the Accommodation sub-tab. See Current Student Maintenance - Accommodation tab - Accommodation sub-tab.

   The Accommodation sub-tab of Current Student Maintenance is displayed.

   

2. Select the Include Past Bookings field, if required.
3. Select the booking.

   Tip: Double click on the selected record to open it.
   

4. Click .

   The Object Booking window is displayed.

   

   Note: Select the Process Overdue Charge Flag to add charges for overdue loans or Process Overdue Reversal Flag to reverse any incorrectly charged fees.

   Note: The labels for Semester can be Term, Report No or Half-Term based on your setup. See Student File Semester Maintenance - File Semester tab in the Curriculum manual.

5. Click .

   The following dialog window is displayed.

   

6. Click .

   The accommodation booking is deleted.
