Description
The AllowFutureEntry configuration setting is used to determine whether attendances can be marked before the class has started. For example, if the first class starts at 8:30am, this setting determines whether attendance can be marked before 8:30am.
Default value
The default value is true. Classes can be marked before they are scheduled to start.
Controlling when attendance can be marked
Clear the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to false. See Maintaining configuration files. Attendance cannot be marked before class starts.
Note: You can set a small period before class that attendance can still be marked using the BeforeClassStartsMinutes configuration setting. See BeforeClassStartsMinutes configuration setting.
