Linking events to calendar memberships

You can link events to calendar memberships so community members with the selected membership(s) can view the event appointments in the calendar. See the Calendar in the Introduction manual.

Note: Calendar memberships are maintained using the Membership Configuration window. See Maintaining calendar memberships in the System maintenance manual.

To link events to calendar memberships:

  1. Select Module > Development > Events Maintenance from the main menu.

    Tip: You can also access the development functions by clicking Development button.

    The Set Events Search Criteria window is displayed.

  2. Select the event. See Searching for events.

    The Event tab of the Events Maintenance window is displayed.

  3. Click the Membership tab.

  4. Search for the calendar membership.

  5. Select the membership to be added to the event.

    Tip: You can select multiple or multiple consecutive calendar memberships by holding down the Ctrl and Shift buttons respectively.

  6. Click Add selected (no text).
  7. Click OK button.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 7 to link additional events.
