CustomSchoolEvents:URL configuration setting

Note: Key 3 determines which custom page this configuration setting refers to. To create multiple custom pages, use unique Key 3 values for each page. Configuration settings that relate to the same custom page must use the same Key 3.

Description

The CustomSchoolEvents:URL configuration setting defines the Universal Resource Location of the Custom School Events tab. You can create a custom page for the Custom School Events tab for your organisation and include it in the Community Portal by setting the URL here.

Note: You can also override the ShowMenu configuration setting for this tab. See Overriding the ShowMenu configuration setting per tab.

Default value

This configuration setting does not exist by default. You need to create it to display your custom tab.

Note: Custom pages are stored in the Site/Pages directory, which needs to be included in their URL configuration setting. For example, ~/site/pages/CustomSchoolEvents.aspx.

Setting a different value

Type the URL into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
