Setting up co-curricular program data

You can set up reference data for co-curricular programs, including:

• Sports Maintenance
• Music Maintenance
• Performing Arts Maintenance
• Cadet Maintenance.

Each co-curricular program has the same basic structure and the type of program is defined by the data entered at each stage of the set up process. For instance, the sports program has the following data:

To set up co-curricular reference data in Synergetic:

1. Set up co-curricular file type programs. See Creating co-curricular file type programs.
2. Set up co-curricular file types. See Creating co-curricular file types.
3. Set up co-curricular learning areas. See Creating co-curricular learning areas.
4. Set up co-curricular learning area positions. See Creating co-curricular learning area positions.
5. Set up co-curricular terms for programs that do not follow typical academic or semester dates. See Creating co-curricular terms, semesters and reporting periods.
6. Link co-curricular programs that follow typical academic or semester dates to existing academic terms. See Linking co-curricular programs to academic file semesters.
