Marking a student present from an absence slip

If you are an Attendance Officer or undertake a similar role, the following situation can occur:

Attendance window

To mark a student present from an absence slip:

  1. Search for the absence event. See Searching for absence events.

    The Absence Events Maintenance window is displayed.

  2. Select the absence event.
  3. Click Attendance button.

    The Attendance Details window is displayed.

  4. Double click on the required entry.

    The Attendance window is displayed.

  5. Select the Attended field to mark the student as attending.

  6. Click Submit button (Submit (F12) button).

    The following dialog window is displayed.

    Confirm - This student has had an absence record entered for them

  7. Click Yes button.

    The Modify Attendance Reason window is displayed.

  8. Type in a reason for modifying the attendance record.
  9. Click OK button.
  10. Click Submit button (Submit (F12) button).

    The following dialog window is displayed.

    Information - Attendees successfully submitted

  11. Click OK button.

    Synergetic deletes the absence slip.
