To open the Registry Editor:

  1. Select Start > Run....
  2. Type in regedit.
  3. Click OK button.

The Registry Editor window is displayed.

    Registry Editor HLKM-Software-ComputingDirections-SynergeticCommunityPortal

  4. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ComputingDirections\SynCommPortal.
  5. Edit the Config File Directory setting to point to the location of the SynCommPortal.xml configuration file.

Note: The configuration file location defaults to the SynwebCfg directory within your Synergetic installation.
