Description |

Category |
Category for the payroll employees. For example, administration staff. |
Start Date |
Date that the employee commenced employment at your organisation. Note: If the employee has left and returned to your organisation, you should use the Payroll start date for the most recent commencement date and record the original commencement date and job positions in the Human resources module. |
Employee Status |
Whether full-time, part-time or a casual employee. |
Pay Group |
Group for processing pays with a similar period. For example, weekly or monthly pay groups. |
Tax File Number |
Tax file number supplied by the employee on the tax form filled in at the commencement of employment. |
Tax Scale |
Tax scale that applies for the employee based on information supplied by the employee upon the commencement of their employment. |
Pays HELP Tax |
Select if the employee has a HECS-HELP debt that is being repaid in Australia. |
