Payroll employee creation windows

The Name window is displayed first.

Create New Payroll Employee - Name window

If the information you enter matches one or more members of the community database, Synergetic displays a window showing possible matches. You can either:

Select a record from the grid and add the staff member to the payroll employee constituency (@PAY).
Create a new record. This creates a completely new member in the community database.

The following windows are displayed after the Name window:

Home Address details. See Address window sample in the Community manual.

Note: You can enable the Quick Address System (QAS) to display matching address records as you type into address fields. See Configuring address validation in the System maintenance manual.

Phone and occupation details. See Phone/Occupation window sample in the Community manual.
Key payroll information. See Create New Payroll Employee - Payroll Employee.
Award and full-time equivalent information. See Create New Payroll Employee - FTE History.

Create New Payroll Employee - Name window key fields

Field	Description
Record Type	New payroll employees are set to Personal. Note: Only create a payroll employee as a Personal contact.
ID	The Synergetic identifier of an existing staff member.
Use existing ID	If you are creating a staff member from an existing community member and you know their Synergetic ID, select this field and enter the ID into the Contact ID field. The details of the staff member will be retrieved from the community database.
