Payroll Configuration - Tax Rates tab

Use the Tax Rates tab to maintain:

There is a two-tiered hierarchy when maintaining tax scales and weekly levels, from the top-down:

When the tax rates change, Synergetic Management Systems will issue a text file containing the new tax rates that you can import directly into Synergetic. See Loading new tax rates for more details. Alternatively you can manually change the tax rates.

Tax scale area fields

Scale

Tax scale number as defined by the:

  • tax office in Australia
  • IRD in New Zealand.

Weekly scale area fields

Weekly Min

Weekly Max

The weekly tax scale is used if the gross pay is between the weekly minimum and maximum levels.
