Copying and pasting information into comments

Use the and buttons in the Comments area to copy and paste overall comments from one student record to another. This copy and paste facility does not use the Windows clipboard, so you can only copy and paste comments between students.

Note: Check your organisation's policy. Some organisations do not allow staff to copy information between student records.

Copying and pasting entire comments

To copy and paste the entire comment:

1. Position the cursor in the Comment field that you want to copy, on the relevant tab or window of Student Results Maintenance.

   

2. Click .
3. Open the student record that you want to paste the comments into.
4. Click .

   The comments are pasted into Comments field. The student name and gender are automatically changed.

   

Copying and pasting parts of comments

To copy and paste part of a comment:

1. Select the text that you want to copy.

   

2. Click .
3. Open the student record that you want to paste the comments into.
4. Click .

   The comments are pasted in. The student name and gender are automatically changed.
