Scheduling new parent teacher interviews

To schedule a parent teacher interview for the selected student:

Tip: You can also use the short cut menu for a range of related functions. See Using the shortcut menu when scheduling parent teacher interviews.

1. Open the Schedule tab of the Parent Teacher Interview Maintenance window. See Parent Teacher Interview Maintenance - Schedule tab.
2. Select the parent or guardian contact, if not already done. See Selecting contacts for scheduling parent teacher interviews.
3. Select the student to schedule an interview for in the Parent/Student area, if there is more than one student for the selected contact.

   

4. Double click a free time slot in the grid for the staff member, to schedule an interview for the student.

   

   Tip: You can drag the student onto the time slot.

   Note: Depending on your configuration, students who have more than one class with the staff member can book several time slots or several contiguous (adjoining) time slots. See Maintaining parent teacher interview setup data in the System maintenance manual.
