Payroll Pay Rate Maintenance - Maintenance tab - Employees sub-tab

Use the Employees sub-tab to:

Filter Fields

Field

Description

Pay Group

Select pay groups to display. For example, select Monthly to filter employees who are paid on a monthly basis.

Category

Select pay categories to display. For example, select Administration to filter administration staff.

Show when field not overridden

Either:

  • select to display employees with an overridden Rate, Factor or Amount field
  • clear to only display employees who have overridden the currently Target Field.

Surname

Select to filter on surnames starting with a specific letter.

Filter Buttons

Button

Description

All On button

Select all of the filters.

All Off button

Select none of the filters.

Note: When no filters are selected, the grids will act as if all filters are selected.

Toggle button

Invert the filter selection. Filters that were selected are now deselected and vice versa.

Employee sub-tab fields and buttons

Note: Only the New Rate, New Factor, New Amount and Effective Date fields can be edited. All other fields are read-only.

Grid area fields

Field

Description

Select

Select to modify this employee's pay code.

Name

The employee's name.

Pay Code

The code representing that pay.

Description

A short description of the pay code.

GL Code

The general ledger code of the employee's pay.

Pay Group

The pay group of the employee's pay. For example, Monthly.

Category

The category of the pay code. For example: Salary Sacrifice.

ID

The employee's Synergetic ID.

Units

Number of units typically worked per pay period.

Note: This only applies to pay codes that are used for casual or hourly wages.

Current Rate

The dollars-per-unit currently paid for that pay code.

New Rate

The new dollars-per-unit paid for that pay code.

Current Factor

The factor by which the pay code is multiplied.

New Factor

The new factor by which the pay code will be multiplied.

Current Amount

The amount paid for that pay code.

New Amount

The new amount paid for that pay code.

Effective Date

The date from which the pay code change will be effective.

Selected Pay Code Records

The number of pay code records currently selected.

Selected Employee Records

The number of employee records currently selected.

Launch Staff Maintenance for the selected employee.
