Creating spouses

To create a spouse for an existing community member:

1. Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.

   The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.

2. Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
3. Select the community member requiring the spouse record in the Community Selector.
4. Click the Create Spouse link.

   

   The Create New Spouse - Name window is displayed.

   

5. Enter the spouse's name, gender and date of birth.

   Tip: You can select the Use Existing ID field to enter the community ID of an existing community member as the spouse.

6. Click .

   Note: If the information you entered on the Create New Spouse - Name window matches one or more members of the community database, Synergetic displays a the Possible Name Match Found window showing possible matches. See Possible Name Matches window.
   The Address Couple will Live at window is displayed. See Address Couple will Live at window. Select the correct address, then click .

   The Select Couple Relationship window is displayed. See Select Couple Relationship window.

7. Select the couple's relationship.
8. Click .

   If the spouse is:

   • a new community member, the Phone/Occupation window is displayed
   • an existing community member, the spouse is added to the community member's record.
9. Enter the spouse's telephone and occupation details. See Phone/Occupation window.
10. Click .

    The following confirmation message is displayed.
