Staff Schedule Maintenance - Definition tab

Use the Definition tab to define the time periods and days for which a staff schedule can be used.

Grid area fields

Field

Description

Time From

Beginning of the time period.

Time To

End of the time period.

Description

Description of the time period. For example, Session 1.

Buttons

Description

Add button

Add a new line to the definition grid.

Delete button

Delete an existing line from the definition grid.

Days button

Define the days for the staff schedule. See Defining the days for staff schedules.

Default button

Reset the schedule, using the time period defaults that have been set up for your organisation.

To set the values to the default time periods:

  1. Click Default button.

    The following window is displayed.

  2. Click Yes button.

    The grid is updated with the default times for your organisation.

    Note: The default times are configured using the DefinitionTime configuration setting. See Maintaining configuration files in the System maintenance manual.
