Searching for staff schedules

Use the Set Staff Schedule Search Criteria window to search for existing staff schedules. Enter the information you have about the staff member, then click OK button.

Note: If the staff member is not found, click New... button (ellipses) to add a new staff member from this window. See Creating new staff members in the Human resources manual.

Staff area fields

Field

Description

ID

Search for staff members by Synergetic ID.

Tagged IDs

Restrict the search to staff IDs that have been tagged.

See Tagging community records for later use in the Introduction manual.

Tip: Tag community members' records to create a group of records to use in reports and communications. For example, if your organisation has a swimming team from different year levels, campuses and houses. Instead of searching for the students and sending messages to each individual, tag the records and then send communications to your tag list.

Surname

Search for staff members by surname.

Preferred

Search for staff members by the staff member's preferred name.

School Staff Code

Select a staff member from the drop-down list, which shows staff members' names against their staff code.

Tip: This is a useful field to quickly locate the staff member.

Note: Clear the value from the field if you want to search for multiple staff members.

Vehicle Registration

Search for staff members by vehicle registration.

Other area fields

Field

Description

Campus

Search for staff members by campus.

Category

Search for staff members by category. For example, Administration, Library.

Form

Search for staff members by form.

House

Search for staff members by house.

Department

Search for staff members by department. For example, the Mathematics department.

Active Staff

Include active staff in the search or not, using one of the following selections:

Yes

Include only active staff. That is, current staff members.

Note: This is the default value.

 

No

Do not include any active staff.

 

Ignore

Display staff based on other selection criteria, without taking into account this field.

Teaching Staff

Include teaching staff or not, using one of the following selections:

Include only teaching staff.

 

No

Do not include any teaching staff.

 

Ignore

Display staff based on other selection criteria, without taking into account this field.
