Sending emails

You can send email from any of the windows within Synergetic that display the details of a community member.

There are two possible email windows you might see:

• Send Email(s) window
• Send Email window.

Send Email(s) window

You will always see this window if you start email by either:

• right clicking on a grid and selecting an email option

• Emailing using the Tag List window by either:
  • Clicking to email a single tagged community member
  • Clicking to email all tagged community members.

Note: The CC: field is not always displayed.

Depending on how Synergetic email is set up at your organisation, you may also see this window when you click on the email icon to start email. See Using the Send Email(s) window for more information on this window.

This window allows you to use merge fields to individualise the emails as you can in a mail merge letter in Microsoft Word. See Using merge fields in emails and SMS messages.

Send Email window

You will see this window when you click on the email icon , if your Synergetic system's administrator has configured your email to use a MAPI profile. Otherwise, you will see the Send email(s) window above.
