Description

The ReleaseInternally:AbsenceEventsMode configuration setting is used to determine whether absence events are populated automatically when a student is signed out of the medical centre but does not leave the school premises.

Default value

The default value is M. When a student is discharged from the medical centre the Absence Events screen is displayed with the suggested information from the medical incident. Details such as sign out time and absence reason must be typed in manually by the staff member.

Available options:

• M - absence event information is populated manually
• A - absence event information is populated from the medical incident
• " - no absence event is created.

Setting a different value

Update the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files. Absence Events are populated automatically.
