This section outlines changes to the Community manual arising from changes made to Synergetic (versions 64.13-65.19).
Note: The look and feel of Synergetic depends on the PC it is running on. The screenshots in this manual use both the version 65 and pre-65 look and feel. You may notice a slight difference in appearance between this manual and Synergetic running at your organisation but the functionality is exactly the same.

You can set a person's citizenship using the Status field on the International tab of Community Maintenance.

Changes to setting up relationships. |
Your organisation may have a policy where certain relations are always contacted by SMS and others always by email. You can set this default behaviour in the luRelationship lookup table, and when new relations or contacts are created their Use SMS and Use Email settings reflect this default. |

The Suburb field can be set to either be uppercase or mixed case. The Suburb field is displayed as City in New Zealand organisations and needs to be set to 'mixed case' to conform to New Zealand postal standards.

When searching for community records using the Postcode field, Synergetic searches for like records instead of exact matches. For example, if you enter 3 in the postcode field, Synergetic returns records that have postcodes starting with 3. |

The Giving tab of the Set Community Search Criteria window is used to search for community members based on their donations, pledges and foundation-related information.

New tab in Community Maintenance which allows access to community attributes for the community member. This was provided via a user form, which is no longer required. |

New Objects tab.

New Objects tab in Community Maintenance which allows bookings and loans to be viewed and created for a community member. When you open the Objects tab, the Loans sub-tab is displayed by default. You can click on the Bookings sub-tab for bookings. |
