Current Student Maintenance - Pastoral Care bar

To open the Pastoral Care bar:

Select Students > Student Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Current Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the student. See Searching for students.
The first student's record is displayed on the Current Student Maintenance window. One bar is expanded depending on your last session or earlier selection.
Scroll down to the Pastoral Care bar, if required.
Click the Pastoral Care bar.
Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

Note: Hold the mouse over a pastoral care item to view the public and private details.

Field	Description
Search Filter	The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Student Selector. This field can be used to filter students by any of the information displayed in the Student Selector. For example to filter students by name simply type either the student's: last name first name last name then first name separated by a comma. To filter students by year level simply type the student's year level in the Search Filter field.

Item Date	Date the pastoral care item was created.
Creator	Name of the person who created the pastoral care item.
Class	Class the pastoral care item was created from.
Type	Type of the pastoral care item.
Category	Category of the pastoral care item.
Follow Up	If selected, pastoral care item should be followed up.
Tutor	Student's tutor.
Form	Student's form.
House	Student's house.
YLC	Student's year level coordinator.
Comments	Comments on the pastoral care item.

Button	Description
	Open the Pastoral care window to create a new pastoral care item. See Creating pastoral care items.
	Open the Pastoral care window to view or edit the item.
	Delete the pastoral care item.
