Testing account payments

To test account payments:

  1. Customise the Make an Account Payment tab. See Customising the Make an Account Payment tab in the Community Portal manual.
  2. Open an internet browser.
  3. Log into the Community Portal.
  4. Click the Make an Account Payment tab.

    The Make a Payment window is displayed.

    Tip: You can also access the Make a Payment window by clicking Finance tab - Make a Payment button on the Finance tab or Payments tab - payments link.gifon the Payments tab.

  5. Click Make a Payment window - Next button (Portal).

    The Select How You Would Like to Pay webpage is displayed.

  6. Select the New Card radio button.
  7. Select a credit card under Card Type.
  8. Type a test credit card number into Credit card number field.
  9. Click Select how you would like to pay window - Pay now button (portal).
  10. One of the following will occur:

    You can:

    NAB Transact fingerprint error

    NAB Transact is not configured correctly. See Configuring NAB Transact.

    Note: This error also displays when the Community Portal configuration has not been reloaded after changes in Synergetic. Click the Reload Config link in the Community Portal Admin panel to reload configuration settings.

    The Payment Receipt window is displayed.

  11. Repeat this process for each card type.

    Testing account payments is complete.
