Creating new public calendars

You can create new public calendars that are available to all community members.

Note: Public calendars are categorised under the Public source in the Membership Configuration grid area.

To create a new public calendar:

  1. Select Module > System Maintenance > Membership/Calendar Configuration.

    Tip: You can also access the System Maintenance functions by clicking System Maintenance button.

    The Membership Configuration - Settings window is displayed.

  2. Click New button.

    The Confirm window is displayed.

  3. Click Yes button (Confirm dialog window).

    The New Public Calendar window is displayed.

  4. Type a Name for the calendar.
  5. Type a Description, if necessary.
  6. Adjust the Priority, if necessary.
  7. Click the Rules tab. See the Membership Configuration - Rules tab.
  8. Add new membership rules for the calendar. See Creating calendar membership rules.
  9. Click Apply button.
