New stocktaking function.

A new section has been written to provide information on how to perform stocktakes with the new stocktake function.

Stocktaking items

Consignment stock selection available when searching for stock items.

Active stock selection available when searching for stock items.

The Set Item Search Criteria window now includes:

• a Consignment Stock field, to include or exclude consignment stock when searching for stock items
• an Active Stock field, to include or exclude active stock items when searching for stock items.

Searching for items

Item can be flagged as a consignment stock item.

The Item tab of Item Maintenance has been updated to include the Consignment Item flag.

Add an active flag to stock items.

The Stock tab of Item Maintenance has been updated to include the and buttons.

The active flag is also included as a searchable option on the Set Item Search Criteria window.

Inactive items are excluded from the Stock Item Search window and are no longer available for sale.

Security on deleting a sale.

The information about the button has been updated to provide information on updating security to give a user permission to delete a sale.

Using the Sales Entry window

The Stock on hand field on the Stock tab can no longer be adjusted from this tab.

The descriptions of the and buttons have been changed as the Stock on hand field on the Stock tab can no longer be adjusted from this tab. The stock on hand is now adjusted during the stocktake.
